At ORGATEC 2018, office furniture manufacturers CEKA and Fleischer presented their statement on the trade fair headline “Rethinking Work” and, together with bkp, invited them on a walk through urban and green new working environments. The abstract city skyline of the company CEKA from Alsfeld formed an urban marketplace where people spontaneously meet, exchange and work together. The counterpart was the diverse working environment of the company Fleischer from Bochum with products inspired by nature, which, with soft radii, solid oak wood and textile accents, created a harmonious overall picture and an inviting look for creative exchange. The blue sky with its glowing clouds and the rising and setting sun formed the common back for the city and the countryside.
On the 60th anniversary of the Fleischer office furniture factory, the crank for moving the sun and the sheep jumping across the pasture told of the first product with a wink: a height-adjustable coffee table, which became a multifunctional piece of furniture with such a crank. Today, the company presents modern workplaces, room layout elements and mid-zone furniture for multi-faceted office concepts. In the middle of CEKA's marketplace, people focus on interaction and communication: flexible seating elements, rollable whiteboards and wireless screens show how meetings work today.

While “in the city” urban graffiti on various facades, a street lamp and large neon signs characterize the design, it is meadows, sheep, flowers and trees that playfully stage the products “in the countryside”. The long side of the stand is deliberately designed as a front facing the aisle: The focus is thus initially on certain products, while everything else is only revealed when you enter. The city and the countryside are separated by “water” and stand side by side, each on their own. Each stand thus tells its own story, which, in combination of these contrasts, invites you to discover.
