For the family-run transport company SACO Shipping GmbH Personal contact with customers and employees is paramount. The reason for the new leisure and conference room at Hamburg's headquarters was to be able to offer local employees added value with different qualities of stay. This promotes active interaction thanks to darts, soccer or billiards and at the same time offers places of retreat for internal and external exchange.
The design of the leisure area is a design analogy to the range of services offered by the maritime logistics company. The corporate colors blue, magenta and white run through the design concept and determine the color scheme of walls, floors and materials.
Large dark blue rubber floors are reminiscent of ocean waves and visually divide the square, container-like space into its zones. The “traffic route” made of light gray carpet stands out in terms of materials and color and forms a connecting bridge that leads employees and customers to the individual areas.
