The Sparkasse headquarters show how solidity is interpreted in a modern way

The main building of Sparkasse Iserlohn is clearly designed as a modernly interpreted perforated façade with a changing interplay of different, floor-to-ceiling openings. At Theodor-Heuss-Ring, the building is led up to street level and thus creates a clear address here too with a long-range effect. With a contemporary, energy-efficient shell, Sparkasse Iserlohn, as a reflection of different construction periods, becomes a clearly structured, modern solitaire on the market square.

The main building is clearly designed as a modernly interpreted perforated façade with an alternating interplay of different, floor-to-ceiling openings. At Theodor-Heuss-Ring, the building is led up to street level and thus creates a clear address here too with a long-range effect. The edges of the building are exposed and thus create a clearly accentuated presence in the cityscape. The previously undefined structure formulation is abolished and transformed into a down-to-earth urban building block thanks to the opaque elements of the perforated façade made of light natural stone.
